With strong program planning and communication skills, Anita has experience working with people in a variety of social work settings with sensitivity to a diverse population.  She has a passion for social justice, working with the disenfranchised with a demonstrated commitment to serving people. Throughout the years, Anita's tireless efforts have been uplifting and empowering the marginalized.

Anita has used her gift of merging social work with image consulting to empower and uplift women in transition.  She is a former cosmetology instructor and nationally published make-up artist. She has earned a Merchandising Management degree from the International Academy of Design in Tampa, FL, a Bachelor of Social Work, and a Master of Social Work degree, with a Community Partnerships focus,  from the Andrew Young School of Policy at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Following a management position with Clinique Cosmetics, Anita founded Self Esteem International. Since its inception, this non-profit initiative has partnered with organizations such as Job Corps of Atlanta, urban homeless shelters, and residential substance abuse rehabilitation facilities to provide life skills seminars, workforce development workshops, expressive therapy, health education, and image consulting to over 6,000 women.

Currently, Anita is a licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) and works as a Community Partnerships consultant and advocate. She facilitates life skills training seminars, workforce development workshops, and image consulting, uplifting the marginalized throughout the world. She has a passion for social justice and helping people thrive and achieve their dreams. 

Reggie Hicks is the Executive Producer of the documentary film, "If You Are My Brothers." Reggie was the creator and served as Executive Producer for the "first-ever" national call-in program addressing issues relevant to the African-American community. The 2-hour weekly call-in program, "PowerPoint," aired for seven years in 50 markets and on Sirius Satellite Radio (now SiriusXM).  Reggie is a seasoned nonprofit manager and fundraiser.  He has served as a development officer for the University of Georgia, the American Red Cross, Project South, and the APEX Museum in Atlanta, Georgia.

Reggie earned a journalism degree from the University of Georgia and was named a Grady Fellow at the Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication. The Atlanta Business League named Reggie one of Atlanta's Men of Influence. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and has served on a number of nonprofit boards.

Joan began her career contributing to the education of rural students as the Audio Visual Development Specialist, developing content and training teachers for the Public School system in Jessup, GA. Her next role was Migrant education Advocate for the public school system in Orlando, FL. After many years in education,  Joan crowned her career as a professional providing residential mental health services in New York City. Currently, she is retired, enjoys philanthropic endeavors, and serves on a variety of non-profit boards.

Regina is a writer, producer, and showrunner working on some of the industry’s most popular series and made-for-TV movies. She is currently an executive producer and showrunner for “The Upshaws,” a sitcom she co-created that launched its fourth season on Netflix. Regina wrote and co-executive produced the LWord-Next Gen”, a drama about lesbian women on Showtime and “Insecure” on HBO. Her writing credits include “Girlfriend,” “Sherri,” State of Georgia,” Instant Mom,” and “Uncle Buck.” Regina has also co-scripted several made-for-TV movies, including “Jump In,” “Camp Rock,” and “Camp Rock 2” for the Disney Channel. She has a Bachelor's in Journalism and Mass Communication and a Master's in Fine Arts from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA.
